Special and hybrid packages
Electrovac manufactures hermetically sealed special and hybrid packages for customers all over the world.
These customized special and hybrid packages are used in the aviation industry, satellites, opto-electronics, the microwave and laser technology, power electronics, telecommunications and the medical technology for the long-lasting protection of sensitive electronic switches without loss in performance.

> Machined housings can be manufactured for almost any design:

- In soldered variants the bathtub bottom can also be provided in Al, Cu, MoCu and CuW to improve the thermal performance.

In a hybrid package the terminal pins are glass sealed either parallel to the sidewall of the bathtub (flatpacks) or in the bathtub bottom (plug-in).

The test methods are based on MIL STD 883 or JEDEC STD.
